We need more heart in leadership.
Susan Steinbrecher's "Heart- Centered Leadership" podcast opened my eyes to a greater
diversity of thought. There is a great cost when you neglect the human connection point in business.
What is heart-centered leadership?
Heart-Centered Leadership means having the wisdom, courage and compassion to lead others with authenticity, true transparency, humility and service. As the rate of change accelerates, soft attributes of leadership such as humility, empathy and open-mindedness will allow us to learn and grow collaboratively and ultimately improve performance.
Because at the end of it all, our leadership stems from our being. Many feel that leadership is about “doing”. Let's focus on “being” and “doing” will take care of itself.
